A provincial official at the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) of Markazi Province Asghar Jafari told IRNA on Monday that most of Markazi Province consignments were exported to the Commonwealth of Independent States (C.I.S) countries such as (Republic of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan) as well as India and China during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
The TPO deputy added that Markazi province’s main exports included hydrocarbons, polyethylene, aluminum ingots, glass, steel, food, tiles, and ceramics.
Markazi Province in central Iran consists of 12 counties and is home to 1.41 million people. It is one of Iran’s major industrial and agricultural hubs.
